Maybe Xavier Nady is the one who should go…
If he is the player in September rather than the one who showed up at the end of July, then perhaps we would be better served by trying to get a quality return under the old adage of trading high. If Nick Swisher has the power potential of Nady and can field the position, then I agree that maybe Nady should go since it would be more difficult to move Matsui.
I am watching the MLB Network’s replay of Don Larsen’s perfect game on 10/08/56. Way cool! I loved watching Mickey hit that home run, and of course, just seeing Billy play brings tears to my eyes. Outside of the YES Network, this might be my new favorite cable network!
